Passionate About Inspiring Others
I am Sabina Rapelli, a 28 year old sports Teacher in Switzerland and coach.
I have an unusual journey for a long-distance athlete, having done artistic gymnastics from a very young age. I startedendurance sports when I was at University in Switzerland, first with triathlon and then getting into swimrun about threeyears ago, qualifying for the World Championships 2018 in Sweden. I placed 13th in the womens category, with mySwedish teammate Cassandra, met only two days before the race.
That day started my adventure in swimrun.
I met Nicolas Remires (Coach and leader of Team Envol) and I started working specifically on my swimming and running tobecome a better athlete. Thanks to team Envol I met a lot of inspiring people that push me to train harder every day. Firstof them Alexis Charrier, who started as my parter in swimrun to then become my partner in life. During our first yearracing together, we did Otillo WC 2019 coming in 4th in the mixed category.
