I am Sabina Rapelli, a 28 year old sports Teacher in Switzerland and coach.
I have an unusual journey for a long-distance athlete, having done artistic gymnastics from a very young age. I started endurance sports when I was at University in Switzerland, first with triathlon and then getting into swimrun about three years ago, qualifying for the World Championships 2018 in Sweden. I placed 13th in the womens category, with my Swedish teammate Cassandra, met only two days before the race. That day started my adventure in swimrun. I met Nicolas Remires (Coach and leader of Team Envol) and I started working specifically on my swimming and running to become a better athlete. Thanks to team Envol I met a lot of inspiring people that push me to train harder every day. First of them Alexis Charrier, who started as my parter in swimrun to then become my partner in life. During our first year racing together, we did Otillo WC 2019 coming in 4th in the mixed category.

• Swimrunman Gorges du Verdon: 1st in Women category with Desiré Anderson
• Ötillö Utö: 3d in mixed category with Alexis Charrier.
• Swimrunman Vassivière: 1st in Women category with Eugenie Plane.
• Ötillö Engadine: 2nd in mixed category with Alexis Charrier.

• Ötillö Cannes: 2nd in mixed category & 6th overall with Alexis Charrier
• ÖTILLÖ World Championship : 2nd place in mixed category, 8h32 & 6th overall with Alexis Charrier.
• Swimrunman Grands Lacs de Laffrey Sprint: 1st Overall and 1st in mixed category with ALexis Charrier.
• Ötillö Utö: 3rd place in the mixed category & 7th overall with Alexis Charrier.
• Ötillö Engadine: 2nd in mixed category with Alexis Charrier.
